One of the most insightful and healing exercises you can do is to write a fairy tale.
Sounds silly? Not important enough to heal inner hurt - don't be fooled - do this and you will be amazed at what you learn and heal about yourself!
Start with ...Once upon a time...
Have a villain
Have a hero
Write the story without thinking it out - just let it flow off your pen
Resolve the conflict between the hero and villain
Finish with ..."and they lived happily ever after'
Writing this fairy story allow you to relax and you will be surprised that a long forgotten childhood belief, hurt, embarrassment, humiliation - whatever is hidden in your subconscious mind ... will write itself into your story .
As your story unfolds and overcomes the 'evil' you will resolve this hidden issue in your subconscious mind and it will stop ruling your life (without you even knowing it was there beforehand!) .
