So if you feel an emotion that you don't like , you know you will feel it for 90 seconds then after that make a choice to feel differently and take action. Go to the movies, read a great book, read a joke, ring a friend ( but don't start talking about the bad feeling) - do something that distracts your mind so that you can then think happy thoughts. After just 90 seconds it is your choice.

90 seconds to feeling great - top tip to getting out of the blahs/feeling sad/angry/depressed

Top tip to getting out of the blahs/feeling sad/angry/depressed Did you know that your autonmatic reaction to any of life's events which make you feel sad, depressed, angry ,resentful or just plain...

Top tip to getting out of the blahs/feeling sad/angry/depressed

Did you know that your autonmatic reaction to any of life's events which make you feel sad, depressed, angry ,resentful or just plain horrible only lasts 90 seconds!! Just 90 seconds and its over at your autonomic response level . BUT most people will tell you that once they feel awful they continue to feel that way for some time, some even for days.

We now know that you only need to feel awful for just 90 seconds. After that it becomes your choice. You are choosing to feel sad, depressed, angry, mad, resentful. if it goes beyond 90 seconds. In other words you are in control again and if you continue to feel bad it is because you are CHOOSING to feel bad after that initial 90 seconds.

So if you want to feel awful all day, go ahead. it is your choice. But if you want the world to look brighter , to feel back in control do what wendy said to Peter Pan " Think happy thoughts, and fly." best advice ever given. Really!!

Client Profile ? I had been working with Marika and Damian for a couple of months making sure they were mentally and emotionally fit for the challenge. Marika, Damian and Dale cycled the Tour’s 3500 kilometres while their support team including me, followed in the car.

This is one tough ride! Everyone, including the support crew agreed that it was a fantastic, challenging experience but one they never want to do again. We were all up at 5.30 or so each morning, the guys checked their bikes and then one support crew led to show the way and one followed in case they needed help. Most days finished somewhere between 8-12 midnight.

The support crew behind travelled at no more than 35k’s per hour, frequently stopping to let other cars pass and to allow the cyclists to get ahead, made sure they had plenty of food and drink and generally offered lots of encouragement, while carrying all the gear for every type of weather and problem including several punctures. I 'tuned' in to each one of them at each stop to ensure their mental emotional fitness.

Following the exact route of the Tour de France meant exhaustingly long days, steep gradients through the Alps, exhilarating downhills and switch-backs and fantastic views.

I also was there to help them mentally 'flatten the Alps' so that the ride would seem easier and therefore doable for them.- I joined them in Bourg St Pierre and travelled several days with them to Annecy. - they were great!

Marika, who had had the least amount of long days cycling while preparing for the trip - I think she had only been cycling for 6 months beforehand- was in amazing form and was actually fitter than the guys in the long run -she is very strong mentally and her steady approach to the rides meant she had great endurance while the guys did lots of sprints -I found Marika only lacked a bit of protein which was easily helped along with a meal of bison (which tastes fantastic!) and including nuts in the diet.

Damian had some troubles with his Crohn's - unfortunately eating a lot of bread each day did not help. Dale found the patisseries and especially creperies well worth a visit , ate constantly and thereby maintained his fitness, looking ‘ripped and buffed.'

All in all the guys were great despite the gruelling number of kilometres, the extremes of weather and the long uphill climbs.

You can read all what they say about their experiences on the tour if you go to Marika's website
www.marikastourdefrance.blogspot.com or Damian's website
www.thecrusaders.com.au - both are well worth a visit!

Margaret?s Group Gatherings can work MIRACLES

I have just received this wonderful testimonial from a lady who attended my last workshop on May 17. WOW!! It is so wonderful to see the changes people make in such a short time. I couldn't wait to share it with you :

Over the years Margaret has helped me so very much and this last gathering has certainly been no exception. My husband died just on 2 years ago with cancer . We had only been married just 10 years and I was devastated as he was the love of my life. The shock and greiving set in. I was't able to see where to go or what to do and life became dull and boring. THEN Suddenly one day I received an invitation to a group session of balancing and unblocking "blackages" ( a group session with Margaret) and I couldn't get the pen and paper soon enough to reply "Yes".

When the session was ended I was still left wondering so I told Margaret how I felt and with a few words and great understanding from her I began to 'see'. On the way home in the car the FOG in my mind was gradually lifting and I was starting to make plans and decisions about my future. One week afterwards - I have my house on the market,-I have chosen a house and town where I wish to be,- Taken what action I need to, to get my future happening. I am looking forward now not backwards. From Sandra J. Rogers.

For Sandra - life has begun again - and there is a new and exciting future for her. Thanks for the wonderful testimonial, Sandra.

Getting emotionally and mentally fit for the Crohn?s Crusaders Pre-Tour de France Tour

What a magnificent Autumn day it was today for the farewell ride for Damian Watson and Marika Mulqueen as they head off to France to travel the 3500 kms route of the Tour de France.
I have been working with both of these amazing people over the last couple of months -identifying hidden thoughts and emotions held below the level of consciousness that could interfere with them successfully completing the ride. by doing this we are ensuring they are mentally and emotionally fit, especially for the mountain sector. I will be following their ride every step of the way and will keep you updated on how they are going.

Fabulous workshop in Rochester May 16 & 17

Over the weekend I travelled up to Rochester near the lovely historic town of Echuca in Victoria to do some one on one consultations on the Saturday and a workshop for 22 people (my Continuous...

Over the weekend I travelled up to Rochester near the lovely historic town of Echuca in Victoria to do some one on one consultations on the Saturday and a workshop for 22 people (my Continuous Balance Workshop) on the Sunday.

What a wonderful workshop–everyone joined in enthusiastically as we identified and released long forgotten ‘stuff’ they held in their subconscious minds which was interfering in their lives now.

As the people let go of these old emotions fantastic changes were made – you could see people’s eyes open up and the life come back into them. One of the participants said: “I feel as if I have gotten my life back”.; while another chap who was limping when he came in reduced the pain in his foot from a painful 7/10 to 2/10 at the workshop and then I sent him some more releases to do last night – so he should be completely out of pain today.

So thanks to everyone who came and made it such a great day – and thanks to the wonderful Carol for organising it all. Marvellous!
